Welcome to 800 Thousand, a collection of stories about stuff that I think is brilliant.  The true stories are embellished, sometimes highly, and the made up stories are peppered with the spice of reality.


No true story is complete without real people, and since I consider it a total bore to track down my friends, family, and co-workers and give them drafts of my stories to read before I publish them, then ask them permission to write about them in the way I have written about them, I'm using code names.  The people in my stories who know the other people in my stories will be able to figure out who is who, but I hope my use of code names will protect my characters from the wilds of the intertubes.
